Bruce A. Ramsay

Biography

Bruce A. Ramsay is an entrepreneur with 20 years investment banking experience in Canadian capital markets. After working in investment banking, including Nesbitt Thomson and HSBC James Capel, Bruce founded Acumen Capital Partners in 1995, a technology and advanced manufacturing focused boutique investment dealer. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from University of Calgary and an MBA from Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania. This financial background together with his experience working with the government sector has lead Bruce to an interest in monetary economics. Bruce’s specific efforts include the development of novel approaches to understanding and predicting financial crises. Currently based in British Columbia and the Netherlands, Bruce is engaged as the driving force behind Ending Over-Lending, a research and publishing initiative focused on the financial stability of nations and their financial sectors.
